Customer selling car products had an open-source ERP system with limited reporting capabilities. There was a need to improve visibility and monitoring capabilities for Sales, Supply Chain, Stock, and Finance areas. With long shipping lines, identification of best-selling products and dead stock was crucial to improve company results. Additionally, the customer had an issue with monitoring their sales team:

  • no visibility on current targets and sales results,
  • hard monitoring of personal sales performance,
  • issues with sales team motivation and bonuses.

  • analysis of source data and source data model in ERP system
  • design and implementation of database enhancements (materialized views, ETL procedures)
  • understanding business context and design of processes enhancements
  • creation of Power BI data model and Power BI Service structure
  • set of analytical reports in Financial, Sales, Shipments, and Stock, Forecasting areas

  • huge improvement of the decision-making process and shortening it from 20 up to 50%
  • limitation of dead stock products by 50%
  • increased sales and revenue by 5-10% together with the elimination of out-of-stock products
