CHALLENGE

The manufacturing company has been growing quite rapidly for the last years. Unfortunately, their IT systems were not prepared for such a pace and needed improvement in both data and analytical areas. The Client needed to migrate an old MS SQL data solution to a new Azure environment together with a new reporting and analytical platform implementation for operational monitoring of Sales and Shipments.

SOLUTION

  • design of training program for 200-500 users in ~10 countries
  • analysis of source data and source data model
  • design and implementation of database enhancements (materialized views, ETL procedures)
  • migration to Azure
  • creation or enhancement of Analysis Services and Power BI data model and Power BI Service structure
  • creation of a set of analytical reports in Sales, Shipments and Stock areas
