CHALLENGE

A multinational company had a challenge with its data sources for analytical data. Data warehouses on a market level combined with data lake solutions on a global level were not able to deliver full data integration and become a source for analytical tools. The Client wanted to test the possibility of data virtualization in the DENODO tool and verify the performance of Power BI reporting based on virtualized data, where there is no need for a huge investment in the data storage layer and where flexibility and speed is the core feature.

  • cooperation of Denodo Experts in order to Virtualize Data in AWS infrastructure
  • mock-uping and prototyping in order to build appropriate UX/UI Design
  • creation of Power BI data models
  • performance testing and comparison between data virtualization and physical storage

  • reporting automation (50% less manual work)
