CHALLENGE

The client needed to monitor all IT projects from a perspective of their architecture team performance, standards, and effectiveness. Architectural competency centers needed to monitor all the IT initiatives together with size, budget, the status of the review, and go/no-go decision. Solution was needed to integrate data from multiple different sources, including XLSX files, JIRA information, and Confluence data.

  • analysis of source data and additional source XLSX, Jira, Confluence data structure
  • requirements gathering and analysis with business users
  • mock-uping and prototyping in order to build appropriate UX/UI Design
  • creation of Power BI data model and Power BI Service structure
  • implementation of architectural tasks monitoring dashboard

RESULTS

  • visibility on all crucial operational KPIs (tasks done within SLAs, incorrect tasks, NPS)
  • ability to effectively report architectural status to CIO
  • limitation of manual effort
